~  What an awesome show.  Everyone was wonderful!  And the food was amazing, too! 

~ The dancers looked so beautiful dancing & Ku'umomi's songs, oh my heart just melted.  We had the best time and the food was so ono.  I wish I grabbed more sweet potatoes and kalua pig!  We enjoyed our time very much!  Malama e pono

Great great show last night and wonderful vibes. Julie’s number was so touching and Poi dance was extremely entertaining as she was totally rocking the place both with regular poi and fire last night. It was just incredible. I thought the emcee’s joyous repartee with the crowd was entertaining.  The setting was superb and looked like Waikiki beach towards Diamond Head with a mirror flipped view. All around a great show and lots of exposure.

Just wanted to say thanks for last Friday; it was a pleasure to do this program with you all! You and your dancers really were fantastic, and there were so many happy people I met on their way out to their cars—many of them wanted me to let you know how wonderful the performances were as well.

I hope you all got home okay on Friday evening, and I hope we can find a way to work together again in the future!

I found you to be very knowledgeable about the history of the islands and how you interspersed it between numbers.  The dancers were spectacular and you gave a show that I wasn't expecting.  I am more than happy I had you with me tonight and filled my party with joy and aloha.

The show was a real crowd pleaser with many enjoying themselves tremendously.  Every number has meaning and context but were so entertaining, you couldn’t find a finer hula show this side of the Mississippi and quite a long distance past it on the other side!

I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful way you added to our wedding last night.  The residents just loved you all.  They are still talking about your performance this morning and are equally as animated today as they were last night.  I look forward to having you dance here again in the future.

We hired Kaiholunuie Polynesian Dance Company for an annual neighborhood picnic, this year with a Luau theme.  They were very flexible, accommodating our date despite having a conflict, and very well organized. We were more than pleased with our choice.  A key factor was that the dancers and entertainers were of Hawaiian/Polynesian heritage - we wanted authenticity. In the end we got more than just dancers - musicians with ukuleles and drums, an education in Hawaiian/Polynesian culture, and really fun, family-friendly audience participation.  Highly recommended!

Good Evening, I just wanted to let you know how wonderful your girls were at Zoe's birthday party.  They are not only very talented dancers but also so sweet and amazing with children.  We had about 20 kids ranging from 2 to 8 and they were completely memorized by the dancing.  They were so engaged that no one was even talking!  All the adults at the party could not get over how quiet they were!  The kids also really enjoyed when it was their turn to get up and learn some new moves.  they especially liked when your girls took out the poi balls.  The kids were so excited to try them out!  Your girls were encouraging and able to keep the kids actively engaged.  They were able to get most of the kids up and trying something new (a few very shy kids watched intently from the sidelines).  It was great to see that both the boys as well as the girls were comfortable getting up and trying something new.  I also received a lot of compliments from parents on thinking outside the box and doing something different for a party.  Zoe loved her party so much that she said she wants hula lessons every year at her party!  Thank you so much for making Zoe's birthday party so memorable!

Kay is so very easy to work with and dedicated to her dancers and the audience. Many who attended the event absolutely loved the dancers and had a great time. I was even getting comments today of how they made the event  a great night! I am looking forward to having them back to perform again.

I work with a challenging population whose attention can be difficult to gain and even more so to keep. Not only were Kekai and her performers able to do just that, but the young men I work with were laughing, singing, and moving along with the dancers. It was beautiful to see, and it is a testament to these talented artists that they performed their authentic craft with poise and grace in such a setting. I look forward to my next opportunity to experience Kaiholunuie Polynesian Dance Company in action.
